Soobiesta!!
Soobiesta! was Straight Out of Brisbane's recent extravaganza at The Orient Hotel for Valley Fiesta.
The gig saw 19 independent acts play to more 400 punters across a range of independent genres. A Soobiesta compilation CD was also produced for the event and is now available from the SOOB office for a tiny $15.
Soobiesta brought a diverse range of independent music acts together for a different sort of gig to the ones heavily promoted through Valley Fiesta. Genres covered ranged from experimental to new-school hip-hop, punk to dub, electro to straight up rock-n-roll.
If you want to pick up a Soobiesta CD, you can come in to the SOOB offices , upstairs at 139 Constance St, Fortitude Valley, and shell out a measly $15 for one of the best Brisbane compilations this year.
