Maestro Modbus


Modbus is a widely used protocol in Industrial Automation and energy space. While the PLCs, RTU are available in both Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP, Scada systems are generally Modbus TCP.

Maestro Modbus allows multiple options:

  • Seamless connectivity between a Modbus RTU or TCP device with a Modbus TCP Scada

  • Local offline Modbus poll to a Modbus RTU and/or Modbus TCP device along with edge data processing

  • Local data storage and multiple data processing and data sending options

Clients Packages


Data collected and processed by Maestro Modbus package can either be sent to a Modbus TCP SCADA, standard
IEC 104 SCADA or host of cloud IOT platforms for further Analytics.

This allows multiple field devices communicate effectively with a SCADA or IOT platform based on different communication protocols.

IEC 101-IEC 104

IEC 101 protocol was designed in the early 90ies and still widely used in the energy sector.

The protocol was originally designed for circuit switched communication and is based on Synchronous polling.

With the advent of packet-switched data, IEC 104 protocol emerged which harnesses both synchronous polls, asynchronous events along with advanced acknowledgement mechanisms.

Today most energy SCADA systems use IEC 104 protocol. Maestro IEC 101 – IEC 104 package helps seamlessly bridge an IEC 101 device with an IEC 104 SCADA system.

It supports both balanced and un-balanced IEC 104 mode and multi-master IEC 104 SCADA support.

DLMS Master

Maestro DLMS master enables Maestro eSeries to poll one or several DLMS meters offline, select parameters to be read, process the data and send data to a Meter data management system or an IOT cloud system in desired format.

Immensely useful in cloud based energy Auditing and energy efficiency applications.
